Default Crankshaft snout diameter

I have a ‘36 engine I am putting in my 1929 model a and I need to use a ‘46 crank pulley to fit my fan but the pulley is sloppy on my crank. I did not know the early cranks had a smaller diameter snout. Can I sleeve and machine the ‘46 crank pulley?

Have you changed direction on fan mounting? Or maybe I'm misreading your post? How's the distributor situation going?

Where could I find one? I don’t see them in my parts catalogs.

No the fan and hub is from a ‘46 also. It is the only fan/generator that I could make work for my application.

Must be available from the dealers on here...i found 2 NOS and a few on the cranks in the rack when checking.
I sell you one but shipping and customs may be an issue.

Can’t say that I have ever seen one of those. I will look for one but if I can’t find one I may need to buy one from you.

I called Fred and he says the piece I am looking for does not exist. I am going to have one machined.

I can check what shipping would cost...send me a PM.
Can´t imagine anyone wanting to machine that part for less then $50-100...

It may seem odd to be getting flathead parts from Sweden, and I've said it before, but Murre is the real deal. I don't know about shipping from Sweden, but I just sent a condenser to someone there and it was $38 for shipping and 5-8 business days.

Thanks to Murre, I am getting one of his sleeve adapters. I have searched high and low and cannot find what he has over there. Wondering if what he has is a Europe only part? I will let you guys know when it arrives as I can’t believe I am the only guy that needs a later pulley on an early engine.
