Flywheel removal.
I come to you fully hat in hand. Is the fly wheel pressure fit to the crank or should I be able to remove it with a couple swift taps of the hammer after I take the bolts out? I may have bitten off just a tad bit to much in this afternoons project. Thank you!

Re: Flywheel removal.
I think you are correct but will leave that to others. Be sure to mark the orientation of the flywheel and pressure plate for reassembly.

Re: Flywheel removal.
I know you've now done it, but I found it easier if the dowel pins are orientated horizontally. It made a very slight difference.

Your videos have been the motivation that’s gotten me out to the garage to get this thing off the tire it’s set on for the last 5 years and mounted on the stand. Thank you! |
