Default Stiff clutch pedal

I put a new clutch and pressure plate 11" in a 52 ford f1 and the pedal pushes hard. The truck had a 11" clutch in it before. Not a pleasure to drive. I have new brass bearings all have been greased. The old clutch did not push hard but had bad clutch chatter. Fly wheel was resurfaced all linkage is good. Any help other than put in a 10" pressure plate and clutch. Thanks Huff

You need to ask on the Early V8 forum. This section is not for car questions.

Not all clutches are the same poundage like the half ton or a 3/4 tons. Since these are old classic vehicles the supplier may only can get one so they don't have to stock two styles. Green sales may have an OEM pressure plate. Or have the Pressure Plate replaced the-spring..
