1930 5 Window
I just purchases an all metal 1930 Model A 5 window. I would like to put a small block ford engine and transmission in it with a 9 inch ford rearend. It appears that I will need at least a 4" if not 5" recessed firewall to accommodate this. Looking for advice on these topics from anyone who has done something similar already. Thanks, Pat

Yes, look on the HAMB but you don’t have to indent the fire wall. Get a late Model explorer motor for the swap. Or at least the front drive and water pump. It shortens the motor by about 5 inches.
