Default '31 roadster pickup vacuum windshield wiper question

I've always heard the wiper on the open pickup is different. We have one that was acquired over the years that is supposed to be the "right one", but the retained clips we acquired from a reputable vendor for an open car, do not appear to work.

Question: Is the roadster pickup vacuum wiper different from other open cars?

Does anyone have a photo of the open pickup wiper/mounting clips?

I will take a picture of what we have when I get back to the garage later today. Thank you in advance. Ed Williamson

The Ford parts book shows the clamps for the 76-B the same as the Roadster
and Phaeton, A-17589-A.
The wiper motor on the left is the one for some of the 76-B's, it mounts upside
down compared to the other open cars.

Thank you Bob. I will be able to look at it this evening. Maybe upside down will be the answer. Ed Williamson

I think the picture is correct for my '31. They look like the ones used on '32 standard roadsters and phaetons but I am sure a concourse judge could find a difference.

That looks like the one I have on my 1930 open cab, mounts
with the flat side up.

Thank you all. My issue was the clips were not meeting up flush with the mounting tabs. The angle attachment was causing the clips to be at an angle. I took the dremel out and notched a little area out, and it is now flush. If I later determine the clips are wrong and i find the correct (original) ones, I can change them out very easily. Thanks again. Ed Williamson
