Default Firewall mounted brake MC on 49

Can a later model Ford firewall mounted MC be easily adapted to a 49? What year?

I think Master Power or EXCI sells a kit to do this. My Neighbor used one of the kits on his 49 coupe. Works very well.

Built my own for my 51. Used G M booster and dual chamber master. Lots of kits available, check out adds in Street Rodder or other like hot rod mags

Does clutch linkage have to be converted to hydraulic? I've considered this conversion for my '50.

I converted to hydraulic clutch linkage. Used a Speedway master and a slave off a mid 80's G M pickup. There are lots of options to go hydraulic. I used the small size Speedway master to reduce the force needed to push the clutch pedal
