I'll be there with one or both my sons. Always a great Father's Day weekend. This will be my 45th. Missed one in the early 1970's when Harrah had his swap meet on same weekend. Took a pickup load of parts in 1980 (first year at Pomona) and sold out in two hours...prices were probably too low!

Been planning the drive out for two years. But....family obligations have to be the priority. I was so looking forward to that 50th anniversary headlight sticker.

For the benefit of some Barners who might not be familar with the L A ROADSTER SHOW, let me briefly discribe the format, and history.
The L A ROADSTER SHOW is always helt on Fathers day, June 14 & 15. The club was formed in 1957. This year they are celebrating the 50th show. The show is put on and run by the club members. The club is limited to 40 members, 20 associate members and 4 honorary members. The show is located at the LA Fairplex/ Pomona Ca.
The entire show is a combination of 4 areas, plus special attractions. First is the display of over 800 beautiful Roadsters on display. There are 4 large buildings filled with the Commericial venders, plus outside a dozen or so large simi truck venders. 3rd is the "Preferred Parking" area. They expect over 2000 coupes, sedans, and speciality vehicles. Next to the preferred parking is the Swap meet. The swap meet is special. It caters to vintage auto items, and auto related items. No reserved spaces; first come first served. We hope you will clean out your garage and bring out some "stuff" to sell.
For futher information the web site is www.laroadsters.com. Email: [email protected] Hotline (310)544-4200
We hope you'll come, and enjoy the show.
