Default Stipe shocks have arrived

I received my new set yesterday. I don't know if they still have more for sale. I put my name on the list about a year ago after I missed the last run. I know Snyder's and Bratton's are also offering new shocks, but after considering all the variables and reading past threads, I decided on Stipes.

I think you will like them. I have had mine for ~20 months now with no problems.

I ahve them on the tudor and coupe. The quality of the ride is a huge improvement over the cheap shocks. We have rebuilt originals on the roadster pickup and they have deteriorated over the past few years, and the rebuilder is dead, so the lifetime warranty is expired, just like the rebuilder.

Who was your original shock rebuilder?
Mine are still under lifetime guarantee with John Holland

you are right, they are not cheap but you get what you pay for. Stipe of course is the premier shock guru in the A group and in my opinion nobody else even compares ! Wayne

I forgot his name. We got them at hershey almost 15 years ago. I called 2 years later and his wife said he was dead. He was pretty old when we got the shocks, so I was not surprised. Oh well, we are all heading there. I just got back from a ride to the farm to get tomatoes with the coupe, and it is a nice car to drive, and goes like mad with that touring engine from Rich.

I've put 4000 miles on my Stipe shocks. While driving down PCH to Wavecrest this morning, I was thinking to myself, "Geez, this '29 wagon rides as good as, or better than my (somewhat worn) modern car." I couldn't be more pleased.
