Default Help indentifying vave springs

I have some TRW VS427 valve springs. Does anyone have a cross for that number to Ford or Lincoln Zephyr flathead. The Ford is 78-6513 '32-48 V8,
the Lincoln Zephyr ism I believe 26H-6513. Thank you Fordbaners

Update, after reading some older posts on LZ valve springs. The LZ number looks like it is 8H-6513 for the spring.
For the record the old Motors Manual lists the Ford spring pressure at an installed height of 2.125 @ 37 lbs., and the Lincoln Zephyr spring pressure at the same installed height of 2.125 @ 51 lbs. That apparently is the reason the LZ spring was the preferred spring in the hot setup.

A set of Isky's will give the same pressure, 50#/55# @ 2.125". We generally set them at a 2.060" I.H.

We have them on hand here at all times, use them on all of our higher-end builds when necessary!

Thanks, Gary in N.Y.

P.S. Wishing all here a very "Happy New Year", and stay healthy!

In a photo I posted last year someone said my springs look like isky because they are a light blue color. Any truth to that?

I had a set of Isky springs that came with the MAX-1 I put in my last build. For what it's worth (probably nothin'), they were light blue.

Back to the original question. Anyone have a cross reference from LZ V-12 to TRW ?
Trying to determine if the TRW VS427s I was sold are actually LZ or Ford.

You might want to check the spring pressure at the install height, that is what is important. I would want them checked no matter what the part numbers turned out to be.

Back to the original question. Does anyone have a TRW valve spring catalog that gives the application for a TRW VS427 valve spring ? Thank you Fordbarners.

Thanks to Bob C. He had an old Thompson/TRW catalog, and it showed the Ford spring as VS 427, and the Lincoln spring as VS 487.
