Cylinder heads.
I have a chance to buy a head that came off a 28 will this go straight on my 31?

Not to highjack the thread, but what does the 28 look like that is different? I'm on this site right now to find information on a head that has "Ford USA" on it. Haven't noticed one of those before. Any comments welcome.

As you are in the UK Further to what Brent said:
Some of the engines found here in the UK are the European 3" bore engine , That head will fit and raise the compression , But there are some steam holes that need to be blocked off before you can use it on the 3 7/8" bore USA engine John Cochran |
