Missing the flathead
I've been working on a 77 Toyota Celica since Christmas. (actually pretty popular cars now)
Doing (what started out as) a light resto for a daily driver. And just now getting it finished up. New interior, front suspension rebuild, shocks, struts, touch up paint, assorted weather strips etc. Can you say "snowball"? I finally had to say "ENOUGH!" I'm so ready to get back on the flathead for my 32. I got a crank kit from Speedway with a 4" crank, forged pistons (3 5/16 bore) and forged rods already. I just need to get the block to the machine shop to have it "freshened up". It's already bored and drilled for the adjustable lifters. I had our local flathead guru give the block the OK and as soon as I can, I'll get it in work. |

Really? (This is a serious question.) Sounds like the '32 should be a bit more satisfying. |
