These are the original fenders of my 190A to use as a guide. I am told that they are common to Fordors back thru 1929, and also common to the 400A Convertible Sedan. The fenders should have the dimple to clear some rivets protruding into the fender wells, but you could easily hammer dimples into fenders without them.

Bob the 29 rear fenders are not the same as 30-31, that said I have seen people install 29 rear fenders on 30-31 with some carving.

I agree, 29 sedan fenders are not the same as 30-31 Sedan fenders . One if the main differences is where they join the splash aprons at the rear . With some cutting and welding the 29 fenders can be made to fit the 30-31 sedans .

The Victoria used 30-31 sedan fenders. Any sedan fender made after February 1931 had a dimple behind the rear fender bracket. It was added to clear a rivet on the 160 series sedan bodies.
If your Vicky was assembled after February of 1931 then technically it should have the dimple. See Page 13-9 of the 2016 restoration guidelines.

To determine about when your car was assembled, take your engine number, if it is original to the vehicle, or frame number and figure what month it was made from the Restoration Guidelines or Steve Plucker's Web site. Then add 2-3 months to that date to estimate when your vehicle was assembled. My Victoria's original engine was made 2/17/1931 and my Vicky was assembled in late April or early May of 1931.

And if you want to torture yourself they sell the dimples as a patch panel that can be welded in.
