Hinge pin mirror for Victoria
I did a search, but I can't find a vendor who sells the hinge pin mirrors for Vicky's and S/W's. Bert's apparently has the correct size pin, but not the mirrors. I would really like to have at least a left side outside mirror on our Victoria. Any help would be appreciated. Smitty

Re: Hinge pin mirror for Victoria
Drill the holes open to fit the larger diameter pins. Here are the mirrors on my 190A.

Re: Hinge pin mirror for Victoria
With my regular hinge mount mirrors, can't adjust the R/H one well. Has anyone tried to "tweek" the arm?

Re: Hinge pin mirror for Victoria
I copied this from the thread I referenced.
I went out in the cold garage and took some pictures of the 400A and also one of the pickup mirror. When I installed them on the 400, I copied the technique used on the pickup. Along with the aforementioned pin problem, I found the mirror you buy from the suppliers won't come back far enough to be able to adjust the head so you can see. Out came the dremel tool and I just started grinding off the part that was hitting until it folded back in a suitable position for adjustment. The mounting is quite solid. Drilling the holes was not that difficult. Attached Images |

Re: Hinge pin mirror for Victoria
Steve Becker, at Bert's, just sent me a mirror set up with the larger pin for my 31 S/W project. He may not show it on his site but he had one for me.
