Re: Model A Roadster/Pheaton Security
Hi Guys,
We made a tonneau cover for the rear of our Chevy Phaeton.

Re: Model A Roadster/Pheaton Security
The early phaetons placed the side curtains in a pan under the rear floorboard. When I first got my phaeton I didn't have the pan and made one that was deep enough to place tools and a jack etc. The luggage had to go on the rack on the back and you are running the risk of someone taking stuff off the rack. On one of our long tours, one of the folks lost a camera out of their phaeton at a lunch stop. So you need to be aware of leaving stuff in the car when you can't see it.

No. No link, just a hellava noise with a time out. I do have a lockable trunk and I installed an old lockable ammo box between the guards hard behind the bumper, chopped a little off the crank handle just in case. good place for the tools and a seat.

Re: Model A Roadster/Pheaton Security
To date I have had lifted from our open cars: From front seat, one $300. Cannon Camera (I was only 20 Ft away from it when it left). One WWII Pith helmet (son left it sitting on the seat). One expensive pair of sun glasses. (I left the glasses sitting on the driver's seat). Solution: "Out of sight, out of mind". We also have a locking trunk on our 1930 Phaeton. We use it often.
