Default Drag link question

I saw on another site that someone made some adjustable drag links.
What would be the purpose/advantage of an adjustable drag link??

To provide a wheels straight forward condition, where the steering box is centered with equal turn to each extreme. Also to position the steering wheel in a balanced position.

I think that covers it.

If you were to change the length of the pitman arm. you change the geometry of the system. This will cock the wheels slightly to one side, the adjustable link will take this out and bring all the angles back.
