Default Tubes for my 6.00 x 16 tires

Hello Barners:

Can anyone recommend the proper tube for a 1937 Ford rim It looks like a 5/8 rim hole for the Valve stem to pass- through.
Thank you.

I ordered some from Coker Tire but they were not right. Although they were listed as 6.00-16 they came with the radial size marking and the valve stem was too small for the hole in the rim. My local tire dealer got the right ones marked 550/600/650 X 16 that had the right size valve stem on it. I'd try your local tire store before ordering on line. Then you see what you get before buying.

Rich, try installing the larger valve stem, and running the bias tires tubeless. I know it works on our '39 CS with radial tires, it should work with the bias tires...

I bought tractor tubes at Tractor supply. I bought a another set on ebay. I could not get one to take air, finally I found they installed the valve stem but never punched through to the inside of the tube, so much for China.
