I'm sorry to hear this! I live right down the road from A&L and have stopped in on occasion. Al and his son-in-law have always been helpful and have taken the time to answer questions. He will be missed.

My condolences to his family.

I remember stopping by his spot at Hershey and picking up something everytime I went. Ill miss him also.

A great loss. I've been looking for an obiuary, none in the htfd courant. Anybody in CT seen one.

I've been away from Fordbarn for a few days, and this is truely a sad way to come back. I always enjoyed buying parts and talking to Al during my Hershey trips. The Model A community has lost a truely great man who produced the finest parts bar none.

A true loss indeed.

I'm not sure if many realize that a vast number of the best quality parts offered by Snyders and other retailers were manufactured by Al's team.
