Default 41 Sway bar vs fan

I'm trying to mount the sway bar on my 41 and the fan is interfering. There are two sets of holes for radiator mounting. I should use the ones closer to the front of car?

That fan does not look right to me... The originals had 6 blades, 3 shorter then the others and if I remember, did not stick as far forward as that one appears to.

I agree with Chris. That fan looks like the generator mounted fan on my '39 pickup. The fan on my '40 is as Chris has described.

Your sway bar is mounted too far forward.

Here's a 41 coupe with OEM sway bar installed from factory. I think the bolt hole locations in the frame determine it's location. Perhaps it will help.

mounting the sway bar rearward would allow the stabilizer swivels to be much more upright as they should be. Plus I believe the swivels are on the wrong side. Check the mounting of your LH exhaust manifold. It does not appear to be bolted properly to the engine block?? The front two bolts are shorter and larger diameter than the other four on each manifold.

You are correct! I located the correct mounting holes and it is now where it belongs.

Exhaust manifolds are loosely installed for now, but thanks!
