Re: Adjusting ahooga horn
Back off the adjustment and run the horn motor for about 15 sec. That will loosen things us and let the motor run at full speed. It never gets to run very long and a little spinning helps. Then try to adjust it.

Re: Adjusting ahooga horn
I have found that by adding a small O-ring onto the mounting screw on the inside of the cover will help with installing the cover and will retain the screw to the cover so it will not be lost.

If your horn is wired as stock, the horn does not get its ground from the frame. (Probably the only electrical device in the Model A that doesn't). There are two wires going to the horn. One is always hot and comes right off the output of the generator's cut-out relay. The other wire comes from the horn button which provides ground when honked. |

Re: Adjusting ahooga horn
I found the felt washer/seal on my spare horn. The felt washer outside diameter is 5/8 ", the inside diameter is 5/16" and the thickness is 1/8".
