Default '56 F100 - need some info

Hey I recently snagged a '56 F100 shortbox pickup to eventually be a nice bookend for my '56 Fairlane. Needs total restore but is gonna be fun.

QUESTIONS:
* Does anyone here know how to decipher the production codes for these pickups, or know a good source for the info? I got most of the VIN tag #s decoded but haven't been able to decode the production code #s.

* And - does anyone here have the parts & service catalogs for the mid 50s F-series pickups on CDs for sale? Or a good source for them?

Thanks

Most of the PAPER catalogs have that information.

I am aware of that. But this is one catalog I don't have. Am hoping someone who has one can decipher the code for me. Couldn't find an online source for this info.

This attachment may help. In the Mid Fifty catalog there's a brake down for the vin code.
