Re: throwout bearing
My Tudor has a lightened flywheel and V-8 pressure plate (three finger) and uses the standard Model A throwout bearing.

Re: throwout bearing
The model A release bearing and hub will work the V8 clutch cover. Make sure that the clutch disk hub doesn't bottom against the the flywheel/pilot bearing area. Some disks will after flywheel surfacing and it can cause a lot of problems. Use an old input spline to put the the disk up to the flywheel surface and make sure the disk face fully contacts the flywheel surface with a bit more hub clearance to allow for wear on the friction surfaces.
Use an original type 9-inch clutch cover with flyweights and adjustable fingers if you can. Some of the new 8N tractor 9-inch type clutches are crap so avoid them if possible. |

Re: throwout bearing
My 2 cents is pay attention who mtn the bearing . I’m not saying ones better then the other but I’ve learned the hard way and there’s lots of labor to replace theses bearings

Also make sure it is mounted the correct direction. Not unkown for someone to put it on backwards.
