Default 1933 brake pin question?

Regarding the pin that hold the adjustment links at top of shoes, are they the same B-2045 pin that goes in the bottom rollers? I see reference that shows (8) B-2045 required per car, Thanks

The B-2045 pins are only used in conjunction with the B-2023 rollers at the bottom of the front brakes and at the back of the rear brakes. There are two per brake backing plate, hence eight in total. The pin used at the top of the front brakes and at the back of the rear brakes is smaller and had the standard part number of 73890-S7. Eight of those are required as well.

As I suspected, are these available/reproduced? Thanks for your reply.

While I don't know for sure as I use originals, I suspect that they are available, especially since they are carryover Model A parts. Try A&L Parts Specialties in Canton, CT.
