Hello, just joined up, been reading for a few weeks already though. I recently inherited my grandfathers 1930 Coupe. It was his first car and he restored it about 15 years ago. Unfortunately I was too young to be much help, but I have since been helping out on the maintenance, and he taught me a lot about the upkeep. I look forward to many years of faithful service out of her, at least another 88

I am at work now but will post up pictures this evening.

Awesome. I just joined last week and have a 'new' 1931 Tudor. My uncle has MY grandfather's 1930 Sport Coupe (black, all original). As my grandfather's car isn't going anywhere I decided I needed a Ford of my own. I learned how to drive stick in it when I was 17 back in 1987 and have loved Model A's ever since.

This forum is the best and everybody is quite friendly. I've learned a lot in only a few days since I got my car.

Welcome Jordan,

Yes pictures are a great love of this forum!!!! Also, you may want to post your location so that if you have issues someone close by may be able to pop over and give you a hand. That and join a local club as they can help as well as being a social thing.

I've been reading all about your adventures, it's something I intend to do one day as well, since I have always wanted a fordor, better for taking passengers along.

I will update my location as well, and I've been a member of the local club for years.

I am sure we have, my grandfather is Frank Fixel, unless you just joined recently.

We joined a year or so ago. But have not been very active. Had a few health issues plus living in Stayton it is hard to get cars over to go on tours. But now we may try to be more active and get better acquainted with other members.
