Default Flathead City machine shop in Oregon

Has anyone heard where the owner of Flathead City got to ? My friend in Maryland sent him a 39 trans and a bunch of money to build a flathead, that was over a year ago. My friend can't get in touch with him and is out the money and the trans. Any help would be appreciated.

Same people??? No address on site, just an email.

If so I thought these guys were solid. Maybe overwhelmed? If so they are not doing right I'd guess.

Hi; The V8 club members in Oregon have been scammed by this fellow lately. Member of RG #85 did a drive by and the place was all locked up--no one around. BBB rating of F . Bad news all around. was a good business about three yrs ago and then went South on customers, Old story of using a good rep to turn Bad. Newc RG 9,10, 85

That's a bummer. Mostly for the customers. Shame for the employees too.

Gary was in the hosp for 22 days - hip surgery, a recurrent problen from injury sustained in Vieitnam and is now on crutches. Shop hours cut to half days 3 days/week for a while. I plan another visit in a few weeks and haven't given up hope. The block for my build sits machined awaiting assembly lacking what I don't know.

Thank you everyone for your input. I will pass this information on and hope for the best. Meantime, I would worn everyone to stay away from this business. I am a retired business owner, and one thing I always did was return calls, like it or not !
Thanks again guys.

Things are making more sense on all these posts or not. PR (public relations) is important, even if it's just a voice mail explaining something when people call. Simple thing

No skin in the game, just following.
