Default Roll down back window?

I have a 1930 Coupe with the rumble seat. Whoever sits in the rumble seat is isolated from the cab. I've seen roll down windows for the rear and was wondering if it was an option..conversion..or someone’s ingenuity that came up with the concept. Any info. or discussion or materials needed would be appreciated.

Starting in mid 1931 if you ordered a coupe with a rumble seat it came with a rolldown rear window. I put one in my '30 coupe but its something of a job.

Snyders offers a kit to convert to a roll down window in a coupe Part # A-48310.

Check out their instructions here: http://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/2781
Lots of info on how to do it.

I installed one in my coupe earlier this year. Not that big of a job, but would have been much easier if done before paint and upholstery. It sure is nice to get better air circulation and to be able to talk to the grand children in the rumble seat.

Thanks so much...and for the kit number and instructions..Perfect. Yes It is nice to get air and chat with those in the rumble seat. As far as the Mother in law option...no need they are all gone now...LOL.
