1952 to 1954 parts compatibility?
Does anyone know if a rear hatch from a 1954 Ford wagon will fit on a 1952 Ranch Wagon.

Re: 1952 to 1954 parts compatibility?
I was hoping someone could answer this.
This info (parts info) was removed from the 49/59 MPC. You would have to find a period correct BODY PARTS CATALOG or maybe an early HOLLANDERS to see if the same (or someone with that knowledge).

Re: 1952 to 1954 parts compatibility?
By the appearance and body style of '52 thru '54 Ford wagons, I would assume the rear hatches are interchangeable (top hatch). One difference may be the amount of stainless trim on it. A Country Sedan or Country Squire will have extra stainless trim around the rear window, where as a base Ranch Wagon would just have a narrow stainless strip across the belt line.

I picked up a extra one years ago when I was building my wagon and everything is the same. HRP
