Re: 1946 Ford 1-ton 17" rim problem
You never know what you are going to find. The last two I found were in a really muddy junkyard and upon removal of tires I found almost total factory black paint. Kept inflated and a fender over them they seem to hold up very well. They were built from good steel with good paint on them. Some pitting is not the end of the story either.
