Default '40 Front Brake Hoses

Any preference for 99A-2079 front brake hoses ? NAPA has them, mfg by United, #UP7600. Rock Auto, Raybestos BH7600. From what I understood from Tom at Then & Now Automotive is that there is likely only one hose Mfg., and they are probably not in the USA. He did make a good point about brake parts. The major suppliers like Raybestos and Wagner have invested heavily in offshore mfg. facilities, and staff them with engineers and QC people. So if they come from those plants you should be in pretty good shape. Any opinions ?

Hopefully the QC is better. 8 or so years ago speedway and a few others were selling defective wheel cylinders that were machined wrong. Took a lot of yelling before they finally admitted there was a problem.

Any of those sources is about the same. Napa is a little more expensive. There's no way to know where they were made. Most all made offshore anyway just like most of the repo parts from Carpenter and Drake.
