Default Radiator conduits

Getting ready to put these back on early 28 and 29 roadster. Looked in the judging standards and didn't find anything. What do I have here? Why all the different lengths and ends?

Vermin has beautiful conduits, probably re-po's, they are VERY long & hang down about 10", inside the shell, but they look nice & graceful.

The "top of the line" ones I got from Berts look to be correct and do not have excessive length hanging down on the inside of the shell. They are very well made, as opposed to the Vintique ones I had before.
