Default 32 Ford Pickup windshield frame removal

So the windshield is open and I removed all the screws from the under side of the cab header (top of windshield).

And the 3 nuts on the topside off the cab header.

Swing arms are disconnected.

What’s next? I don’t want to start prying and pulling in the wrong direction.
It seems like it should come straight down and out?

Looked here and Youtube and couldn’t find anything.

If you've removed all of the fasteners that retain the upper portion of the windshield hinge then perhaps your windshield frame is stuck on the rubber seal between the windshield hinge and the header.

Double check to make sure all the fasteners have been removed. Put a lot of padding on the cowl to prevent any damage to the paint. Then gently pry down from one side to the other to get it loose. I would also recommend you have a friend help you as the frame with glass in it can be heavy. Dave is correct that the hinge is probably stuck to the rubber seal.

I too agree with Dave; Had same issue when I took my windshield frame off. Rubber seal was "stuck".

There are 10. 10/32 screws that hold the windshield hinge in place even when they are all undone the thing sticks really like you missed a screw!
