Default 30/31 coupe door question

Getting my 30/31 Coupe doors ready for paint, and I noticed the vertical door brace that has the window stop on it, is straight on one door and has a slight curve in it, and on the other door. Anyone know how the brace should be, curved or straight?

Thanks
Bob

On my '30 coupe both of those braces are straight.

Thanks Lindy for checking . I thought that the brace being curved would be correct, because if you look across the door the curve matched the curved edges of the door. When the brace is straight, it sticks up higher than the edges of the door, which would make the door panel not fit correctly.

Thanks
Bob
