1934 Ford rearend
I am getting ready to open the rearend on my 34 Ford coupe. It has been in storage for the past 60 years any ideas on what I might find or what I may need to do to it?

Re: 1934 Ford rearend
Storage would not hurt it but might rot the two inside oil seals on either rear end housing. They should be replaced as well as the seal in the torque tube behind the bearing if its bad.

Re: 1934 Ford rearend
There is a good write up on rebuilding Model-A rear axles that would be very similar. I'm not finding it, but someone should be able to point in to the link.
