Default '41 body mounts

I have a '41 sedan and I want to replace the rubber body mounts. I have a Dennis Carpenter kit that matches up with what is there. However there are two mounts at the cowl and two on the rear outside of the frame that I still need parts for. Also the large running board ones that are on the brackets. Does anyone have suggestions or sources
For these? Thanks in advance. Dave

The mounts I have match the instruction sheet, but that make no reference to the four that I am questioning. The running board ones are a different issue and are not part of a running board kit I bought. Maybe this is why I kept hearing that 41s can be unlike other years as far as interchange.

I bought body mount rubbers for my '41 and none really matched what I had in the car.
Installed with a bit of shuffling and shims. 20 yrs ago I couldn't find anyone selling rubbers for the running boards so I made mine from castable urethane from McMaster-Carr.

I was in the same boat with the body mounts for my '46 Station Wagon. I purchased the kit from Drake and had to play "mix and match" like fordor41. I specifically told them when I purchased the kit that it was for a "Woodie" and was told no problem, but I still had issues. I guess nobody makes a perfect kit.

Body mounts can be a real puzzle. Most kits come with an assortment of pads, blocks and shims. Unless you have done a "frame off" restoration, replacing the mounts can turn into a real challenge. This is particularly true of open cars. The test is to get the door edges so the gaps are even as you shift the body. Every change affects the others, and lots of homemade shims will help. Usually the frame is not true, further complicating the job. The last one I did had a decided bend where the car apparently had been pulled out of a ditch by hooking into one of the large holes in one of the rear frame horns at sometime, and a Port-A-Power brought it back close enough to allow shimming to a closer fit.
