Exhaust Clamp
I am putting on the exhaust clamp and getting a wrench on the back bolt head is a challenge, while trying to leave clearance to get at the back bolt of the valve cover and the oil pipe bolt. This photo is of the motor before I took it apart. I have the clamp about where it is in the photo, but I don't remember any trouble last Fall.
Any tips? Or do I reach the bolt from underneath? |

Re: Exhaust Clamp
It looks like the air filter is in the way. Was that on last fall?

Re: Exhaust Clamp
I usually rotate the clamp a bit more counter clockwise than what you have. Then the head of the back bolt can be held with a box wrench while reaching from the floorboard area, and the front can be held by reaching from the lower front area. You might have to remove the airmaze in order to reach them and replace it when you're finished.
