Default Gold plated model A

I just wanted to get your attention so you'd read "Please Read" on the forum. It is real important.

yeah, I saw it too in a Wake Forest, NC collector car dealership about 10 years ago. I think it was a '31 town sedan...pretty gaudy and very expensive; I agree... it was weird.

I know that the Wake Forest mascot is the Demon Deacon. If someone there has gold plated a Model A, maybe they looking for the root of all evil (or just the love of it).

Being a native of North Carolina, I feel I can bash my own folks. Probably some kin of mine anyway.

He had it for sale, I do not remember the price. To me it did not look good. If I was going to do that it would not be a Model A.

all the trim, handles, cowl band, and hubcaps were gold plated it looked;
rest of car was painted gold metallic, and to my eye looked way over the top, not attractive at all.
