Default Model B starter assembly

Search for a good usable Model B starter or a address, where I can buy the full inner armature to rebuild mine. Bought a 1931 Model A Phaeton with a B engine and a worn starter. Also I would need the complete burned out inner of my Sparton horn. Whaere can I find these parts?
Thanks for your help, Alex

Alex,

Are you sure you need a Model B starter? If the engine is in a Model A there is a VERY good chance that it is a Model A starter. The Model A starter works on a Model B engine. There were two types of Model B starters. The early Model B starters had a switch in the same general location as the Model A except it was held on by three screws (the Model A was held on with four) and operated with a cable similar to a choke cable. The second type used just had a terminal for the battery cable and the switch was attached to the steering column. I think Bratton's 301-253-1929 (as well as most other suppliers) sells the armatures. Call the major suppliers and you should be able to find the horn parts. If you are unsuccessful there is someone that frequently advertises rebuild horns on this site and I am sure he can help you.

I bolted my model A starter to my new B motor last weekend and it worked perfectly but Charlie is correct the switch is different.
