yellow arrows indicate location on my 1-28 Open Pickup. SFAA 52 (52nd assembly out of San Francisco plant which opened early Jan 28) do not need to remove the wood floorboard in order to see.

Hi Steve:

The car that I received from my dad is a July 27, 1928 car (cowl date). The assembly code says it was built at the Rouge. When I did the engine it still had the multidisc clutch. I dont have the engine number with me, I am at work. I will send you the number tonight.

Dennis,
You do not need to remove the floorboard and you can just lift the back of the rubber floor mat or carpet.

Steve,

We have a 1928 Tudor here at the store , for sale, all original left brake handle, mutiple disk clutch, early wheels and brake drums (no emergency brake bands). Has engine # A120426, cross sill # TO1448, and no date on the firewall.

Hope this helps

Steve,

Thanks for that information.

Please take a closer look at the assembly plant code. We do not have a "TO" listed...could it be a "TC" instead?

If you have any more bodies that you can gleen some information for the list...it sure would be appreciated.

You can email me at [email protected]

Thanks again.

This one belonged to an old friend of mine who has since sold the car. Sorry for the lousy pics.

Tank date 10-31-28
Body stamping LE 9138 - 11
Engine number A380618

ETA: Sorry Pluck, I just re-read the OP where you said "through August". I apologize for the unnecessary info.

My '28 Tudor tank was made 7-20-28.

The motor was built on 7-11-28

And assembled in Chicago.

So who knows the date they were both assembled
