When the assembled manifolds are placed in the machining fixture prior to surfacing, they should be adjusted so that the surfaces are as level as possible. Is this leveling done with a machinists precision level, which would be preferred, or with a level that does not have the same accuracy. What are you using?

When I worked at a shop doing heads, I took my framing square to work to compare it to the head bar.
I was surprised to find my framing square was dead on accurate, so I only use it to check heads.
