Default 1956 ford car

I need help to find out what is making my 56 ford surg while idleing it is a 292 motor any help many thanks

usually vacuum leaks in lines or gizmos
connected to carb
cap all vacuum taps on carb and
see if it improves
that's a vacuum tap
sticking out of front metering block

Spray a little starting fluid around the flanges where the intake connects to the head, if the motor changes speed you found your leak. Good luck
