Default 33 Grille Shell Emblim

Hi all,
Well I received my Ford script emblem for the 33 from C&G, made by Vintique. I was a little concerned before I installed it and only tightened the nut just over finger tight and put some sealer on the thread to stop it vibrating off. Next morning the Ford script was laying on the floor. It looked as though the fastener was glued onto the script plate.
Very poor reproduction. Anyone else had any problems ?.

Junktique strikes again. Hate that for you. Watch ebay, and find an original.

I have not found a source for originals but consider usinga couple dabs of RTV to adhere the emblem to the top of the grill trim. You can remove it and any RTV if you happen to find an original.

I had the same experience with the Vintique junk one. Found it on the floor a couple of days later.

I also had same problem. The fastener came off with minimal tightening of the nut. Put it back on with crazy glue which so far holding Ok 3 years later

Yep, they are timed from the factory to fall off in a couple days, mine did the exact same thing!
JB weld to the rescue, been on for three years now.

I had a Bob Drakes snap off and lost the emblem somewhere. When I told Bob Drake about it at Hershey, he asked me if I put any Silicone adhesive behind it. Sure Bob, I guess old Henry used silicone also!
