What brand of indoor car cover do you use?
Everyone tells me that California Car Cover is the best. I just want a good indoor cover. Your thoughts?

I have one, and it is great, but I drive my A often enough that I don't hardly use it.

I bought 3 from a place in Texas that are good for indoor and outside for rain protection. They were about $55 each and have a soft inner lining. Look on ebay for 5 or 7 layer car cover.

Re: What brand of indoor car cover do you use?
there is a cheap $50.00 one on ebay (if you call that cheap) not too form fitting but it does the job for keeping off dust, cats, kids and sticky fingerprints

I don't use covers in my garage. I like to look at them every day. I use my California duster on them about once a week.

I just got mine, you get what you pay for, its a step up from throwing a cheap bed sheet over the car, you get what you pay for, I loved the disclaimer inside the package regarding fit and fabric that they don't mention on the ebay post, lol!. Made in China to boot!

Re: What brand of indoor car cover do you use?
I buy custom fit Multi layer Noah car covers from Covercraft for my cars and truck. They are over $200 each but they are totally weatherproof, very soft and easy to clean which is great at the cottage where I don't have a garage. To clean it you can actually spray it off while it is on the car and the water does not penetrate. Being custom fit they also don't blow off in the wind. They come with the same net rial storage bag, mirror pockets and a locking cable. I might skimp on an amp meter ( lol ) but never on a car cover.

Re: What brand of indoor car cover do you use?
Here's the 7 layer car cover I bought for my 1950 Studebaker. I bought a 5 layer from the same company for my 1928 Phaeton. I don't know why they didn't offer the 7 layer for the 28, but they both look about the same, with a soft inner liner. It comes with a carrying bag, and I bought three 72" x 80" mover blankets from H/F for $5 each. If I'm out and it looks like a storm or hail is on the way, I lay the mover blankets over the car, then cover it with the car cover. The elastic holds it in place quite well.

Tom,
I like that idea of the movers blankets under the cover for better protection. Thanks for the tip. -Pat |
