Re: Post a picture of your car...
Here's mine. Drove it to work that day in 1963. We're both retired now, still got it after 53 years

just picked up this one a couple weeks ago, was 99% restored about twenty five years ago and never driven, been putting the last few finishing touches on it.

Re: Post a picture of your car...
One of our special “adult toys” is a special 1930 Model A Coupe. My wife and I have worked on everything from the interior to the body parts to the engine. We bought the Coupe pretty much finished - frame below and up, but there have been a variety of interesting problems and many improvements to be made or have been made to the vehicle. Always a neat mechanical learning experience. It is unbelievable the thumbs-up, waves and peoples questions and inquiries while out on the road or in town.
I can't figure how to attach here.......so our Coupe is the Avatar |

Re: Post a picture of your car...
Here are a few of my 1931 Tudor. I bought it from a gentleman who purchased it in 1949. He is in one photo taking one last drive-pulling it onto my trailer with my four year old, Rhyse. The photo with the four people are on that same day, and include Arnie, his son in law (far left), myself, and my Dad. As you can see, my son is already a car lover-he may not know what he is doing, but he does spend plenty of time tinkering in the garage on this or one of my VWs. He knows where the engines are in most cars-can tell you that Model A's have it in front and that Corvairs, VWs, and Porsches have them in back (and-he pronounces "Porsche" properly-something my Dad, who owns one, doesn't).
I bought this car restored but as is often the case, still had PLENTY of work to get it reliable and safe. Boy you guys sure do have some really neat cars by the way-love looking at everyone's cars here. |

My '29 cabriolet in its current state.
I hope to get the car finished in 2015. A powered but not a restoration. |
