I have bought my first T Coupe and have no idea where the vin# might be. Where should I look?

You should start over under a new name and take reference to "rat rods" out. People into "rat rods" usually will get ignored and/or get a lot of hostile responses. What year is the coupe?

I totally understand the rat rod thing. I have actually not bought cars because they were worth saving. Unfortunally this car has been cut to the point of that about all it could be used for is a rat rod. The only thing I have is from the cowl back and its a 1926. Thanks for any help.

Look on the frame on the right side about where your feet would if sitting in the car. Otherwise it is the motor number they are one and the same. Philip

I personally am not a rat rod fan.too cliche.hot rods, speedsters are OK.research speedsters! If you have a drive train and not much body you are in the perfect position to go that route.

Typically a T's number will be found on the left-hand side of the block.

My '25 T hot rod has a number stamped into its frame, probably the only way to get it registered when it was first built.

My Rajo fairground racer has the VIN on the engine block.

If all you have is a body, it's very unlikely you'll find a VIN.
