Wow. really? I was not expecting that. My family has had this car since the late 60s. I'm sure one of my uncles put that there. But none of my family members have had a 30s anything as far as I know.

Well, going by this full dash picture and noting the upward curve of bottom of dash toward the center of such, the piece in question is probably not RHD. Interestingly, the second picture shows the long-lost, red-headed step-brother to the original subject part in bottom pic. DD

the scalloped part that attaches to the windshield opening appears to me to be heading downward in the OP post while it is heading upward on the blue part shown by COOPMAN. Sometimes photographs are deceiving, though.

Could you please elaborate? I'm not understanding! DD

Just raising the possibility that the OP's piece MIGHT be from a right-hand drive dash. I'm looking at the top of each of those dash sections. The blue dash top appears to be rising as if it is going to the center of the windshield opening. In the OP's picture the top appears to be sloping downward as it would if it were on the right side.

NOW I understand what you were getting at. The detail you speak of is hard for me to be sure about because the ORIGINAL piece in this thread is posed at an angle, making it sorta hard to compare. I was going by the upward sweep at the bottom/right of both pieces which I thought seemed to match the raised portion toward lower/center of the full dash pictured. DD

And maybe the speedo being tilted is creating an illusion, making other parts seem to be more or less sloped. I’m going to try and clean it up and straighten the Speedo and take a better more straight on photo.

At this point, does it really matter whether it's LHD or RHD? It's obviously out of a '36-ish Ford truck. DD
