Default 57 Ford with 312

I am getting some blow back out the breather. Any suggestions

How much is "some"? If you're still running the road draft crankcase ventilation system you will get some fumes out of the breather at idle and low speeds. Converting to a more modern PCV system will pretty much eliminate that. If it's in the mosquito fogging category you have an internal engine problem. Rings?

Make sure the road draft tube on the side of the engine is clean and not plugged up.
