Choke
Been starting up the 31 a few times a week for the last six months. Although it immediately fires up and idles nicely, I have never needed to use the choke. Is that pretty typical in warm weather or is my carb especially rich ? The float level is set at exactly 5/8 inch.

Re: Choke
May be normal for the Florida Panhandle.
You could try covering your gas line with clip-on clothes-pins to reduce gas line temperature if you feel compelled to choke. Isn't that what is done to prevent vapor lock? Joe K

You should be running it, preferably driving it, for at least 20 or 30 minutes, so that it get's hot enough to get rid of any condensation.
