160-c
Hi guy`s I need some information. I`m getting close to finishing up on a 160-C. it has a flat firewall. at one time there was a body number plate on the firewall right under the data plate. I would like a picture of the body number plate on a flat firewall 160-C. thanks John

Re: 160-c
I saw an orig 160 B with a plate identical to this, not indented firewall.
Perhaps they were the same. It had 160B /space/ followed by the (4 digit) body number. It was mounted about 1/4" or so below the patent plate,to the right of the wiper fitting. This was from my notes. |

Re: 160-c
I have a 160-B plate in the garage. I will get a pic for you tomorrow. Do you have an email I can send it to?

Re: 160-c
If it's Ford assembled it didn't get the tag. If it has cage nuts on firewall it was assembled by Murray and would have a tag. If it's D nuts then it was assembled by either Ford or Briggs.

Re: 160-c
J W, Gwen Machacek can make a body tag with the 160-B in black ink followed by the number you provide just like the original tag. Pm me if you want her phone number. The tags sold by the suppliers do not have the black prefix.
