Default Source For Window Channels For 40 Wagon?

I was wondering if anyone knows a source for the 40 wagon door window channels and slider window channels in the rear?? Didn't see them in the Carpenter catalog.

Thanks, Phil Swanson

C&G has pages of window channel kits. You can look at their on-line catalog or call them at 800/266-0470. Excellent supplier with quality parts and people who actually know what they are doing, and whether it is in stock.

Yes C&G is local to me but basically all they carry is the Carpenter line. They are generic kits for the closed cars. The wagon takes totally unique window channels. Thanks.

Have a look at Restoration Specialties, www.restorationspecialties.com, PN 3-J-4.

I got my double channel runs from Restoration Specialties as woodiewagon46 suggested. I don't remember where I got the front door runs but it is regular felt lined channel that goes down through those metal pieces. If you need the z shaped vertical pieces of metal at the ends of the sliders, Mike Nickels used to make those and you would put your own felt into them and cut a rectangular hole for the latch loop on the stainless handle the bullet shaped part that the spring and knob screws onto engages.

Restoration Specialties also has the strip that goes on the edge of the sliding windows.

Regulator Roy in New Jersey has them for most old Fords. G.M.
