Default Oh no! Not another thermostat thread! Or my solution

Got tired of fighting with thermostats, tiny little wires that always come loose , extra clamps that look out of place, so this is what I came up with.
Got a foot of the stainless tubing from Speedway for $25, and thermostat from NAPA(379-180). Got enough pipe left over to do about a dozen more.

I don’t think I’ve seen these available through vendors. I’m curious, who sells them?
I do like the fact that since I’m making them I can custom fit them to each side of the engine.
Because of the water outlet offset, my Bob Drake stainless water outlet tubes fit differently from side to side. Plus with my offset generator, the pass side will not seat down as low as driver side. Therefore the T-stat tube is made a little longer.
