Default clyd head torque pattern

Been looking for a pattern for torqueing and found 2, both articles showed working on finned heads, I'm using stock cast heads, not finned, don't know if there is a difference between finned and not finned but why the difference other than preference between 2 people ? That being said what pattern do I use for non finned heads, '46 59 AB.
This might be meaning less but I've got a few $'s invested (what she'd call "a piss pot full of money in this") and don't want to go wrong over something simple, she ever finds out I'm not only working in the shop but sleeping and eating there, thanks, ......cheers.

Both sequences will work fine. The general concept is to start from the center of the head and tighten the head down using a circular balanced sequence of bolt tightening so as to evenly spread the load. Do this several times in foot pound increments until you reach the required torque.
